Hello,
I believe this is ‘clipping mask + bevel + drop shadow’ combination (see screenshot below)

First, you fill the text layer with background image content (brick wall, metal surface, or whatever) as follows:
– Duplicate the background layer [Ctrl+J] and place it in front of the text layer [Ctrl+]] – [Alt]-click between the two layers to create a clipping mask

Then apply to the text layer "Bevel and Emboss" and "Drop Shadow" styles.
