I see the option to invert a selection, but can I invert a mask in CS3? Bob

Make sure the mask thumbnail box you want to invert is selected in the Layers Palette.

Then CTRL + I will invert the masking, and you will see this by the way black & white change places.

You inverse a selection, you invert an image or mask.

I see both in Help under I in the Index.

I LOVE the Help files. And the manuals and books (both PDF and dead-tree variety).

I STILL refer to them and I’ve been an avid Photoshopper since version 2.5.1 (usually when answering questions here, to make sure I get all terminology correct).

Loads of good info there!
