recently downloaded the trial version of photoshop cs3 and i loved it. only thing is that when i had about 15 days left AVG anti spyware found it was trying to download viruses. is this true because i loved cs3 and i had to uninstall it to work. i would like to download again but it scares me it will harm my computer.

What specific virus was it downloading? Every known virus has a name.

Why would a spyware program report on viruses?

didnt say. it said it was put in the programs virus vault (the .exe)

it asks you whats going on so that you can choose if its a fake or if its real. and it said serious and i didnt want to get a virus on my computer

Again…it’s a spyware program, not an anti-virus program. AVG makes excellent products (I use their antivirus myself) but false positives in spyware programs aren’t exactly unheard of.

Possibly mistook updater as a trojan?

You did get this trial download from Adobe, correct? If from any other source, it is possible that hackers have added trojans or other virus code into it.

got it from adobe.
