When loading the software from my digital camera it automatically loaded Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 and when I download from my camera all my pictures go directly into Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 holding them hostage because I cannot retrieve them. I can’t burn them to a disc or save them to a memory stick or anywhere else. I try to click and drag but that won’t work either. I called Adobe support and talked to two different tech’s all to no avail as they could not help me and said it was nothing they could do as the Adobe was blocking my retrieval. One suggested I come on here and seek assistance………anyone please help as I have pictures of my daughter when she was attacked and have to email them to her atty. immediately, plus many other pictures of my grandchildren in sports etc. Thanks!!!

Adobe Album creates thumbnail versions of the original files.

I think if you Right-Click and select "Reveal in Explorer" you should be taken to the directory where the actual images reside. From there you can open them into Photoshop.

Alternatively, I’m pretty sure PSAlbum has a facility to "Send to email" built in. You should also be able to nominate Photoshop as you default editor for PSAlbum and open a copy directly into PS from there. You can ask in the Photoshop Album Forum, or review the Help Files, to find out how to do this.

If you don’t want to continue using Album, you should uninstall it and change the file associations (in Windows Explorer). You haven’t said which version of Photoshop Windows you are using. If it’s CS2 or CS3 you’ll be able to use Bridge to organize your files instead.
