I see MS has updated their mouse drivers. Has anyone tried the new drivers to see if they’ve fixed the crashing problem in Photoshop?

I did, but the problem is very intermittent and it hasn’t crashed yet. I’m certainly not going to report that it’s fixed because it’s worked for 3 hours.

I went that long with the old drivers, too.

I installed them, is there anything in particular that would cause PS to crash. I have CS2 on Vista32/64.

It’s only an issue with CS3.

Another reason not to upgrade!

If you rely on fancy mouse functions yes.

I got rid of Intellipoint years ago and never missed it. More interested in what the stylus can do!

There’s nothing that’s worth doing that a 3-button mouse can’t do. 😉

Try to create a key that scrolls the window in Photoshop horizontally. With Intellipoint and a mouse with side buttons, it’s easy. Not so without since Photoshop’s programmable keystrokes are brain-dead.
