I have recently installed PS7 on my Vista machine. Now, when I get a .pdf, it opens in Photoshop. I’m sure that I could jump through enough hoops to print out the Photoshop version, but there has to be a better way.

Thanks for any advice…I might not answer until next week.

You want it to open with Acrobat(Reader)? Not sure about Vista but with XP you would:
1) Go to the folder where you have a .PDF file.
2) Pick a .PDF, it doesn’t matter which one and RIGHT CLICK on it
3) Choose OPEN WITH
4) A box should pop-up, now click BROWSE (Acrobat Reader may be in the list but if not..
5) Another box should come up..Browse to C: –> Program Files –> Adobe Reader (number, mine’s 8) –> AcroRd32.exe (find that file name and click OPEN
(YOU CAN ALSO COPY AND PASTE THIS without the quotes)
"C:\Program Files\Adobe>Reader8\AcroRd.exe"
6) make sure the box, "ALWAYS USE SELECTED PROGRAM FOR THIS TYPE OF FILE"
7) Click OK, then that PDF should open with Acrobat
