I get this when I open a document. Its almost 100 MB big but Ive dealt with bigger files and had no problem. Im using CS3 only for a while I hope it wont be a regular thing.

Anyone know what might be the problem?

I recently got the same problem with CS2 and whether I try opening a new file or any image format I get the same error.

I posted a case with Adobe, I even called and all they end up telling me was that I needed $39(per case) to solve problems that obviously are nothing more than Adobe issues.

Per consumer rights and counselor advice, If I don’t get this fixed, I will demand full refund from Adobe.
I don’t think it is right to charge for a problem that is in their program.

Thats lame.
I can open the file with Photoshop 7 though … Seems like the "maximize compatibility" feature equals maximal f*cked-up-tidity

Either the Photoshop program is corrupt or the image is corrupt, in all likelihood. It’s also possible that your preferences file is corrupt, which is easier to fix; delete your preferences file (see the forum FAQ for how) and see if that gets rid of the error. If not, open Photoshop and see if you can open other image files. If you can, then it’s probably a corrupt image file. If you can’t open other images, then it’s probably Photoshop, so do a repair reinstallation.

Tried all that my friend and still doesn’t work.
I even tried replacing the supposed "required missing files" and still no good.

The images are not corrupt since I can open them on my coworker’s PC so…

Ok, I’ve searched the entire forums for days and still there is no real organization of how Adobe handles errors. Quite frankly it is a mess since other companies handle these issues way better.
Also, the fact that I have to pay to fix their program is not acceptable. We have purchased a lot of products from them and this is the first time I fell let down by them.

Refund will be demanded if I don’t hear any solution today.

Found the solution! AT least the fix for our problem.

Solution 2: Install a printerwith the PostScript printer driver, and set it as the default.

Install a PostScript printer driver, such as the Adobe PostScript printer driver or the Microsoft PostScript printer driver, set that printer as the default printer, and then restart Photoshop. You don’t have to have a PostScript printer connected to your computer to install a PostScript printer driver. For more information about installing printer drivers, see your Windows documentation.

Do you think that "Install a printerwith the PostScript printer drive" would work solving the same issue on a Mac?

Thanks
