Several of my tools have stopped working. Among the list are the brush and pencil tool; healing brush; and burn and dodge.

The tool actually comes up, you an manipulate it, the fact that you used it shows in the history pallette, but there is no change in the photograph.

I have tried to reset all the tool preferences to the defaults, but that did not work. I have researched the lock options, but there does not appear to be anything locked.

The tools will not work on the background or any layers.

What did I inadvertantly do to cause this?

I have Photoshop CS3, Windows XP SP2, on a 1 yr old HP desktop with 2 GB of RAM. Everything worked fine two days ago.

Someone Please help. Thank you

Let me turn on your webcam…. Ok. Just move the pen away from your Wacom tablet when you are using the mouse.

Wow Michael, you are amazing – even more impressive since I do not a webcam. I have had the tablet for a while and never had that problem. Thanks.
