Usually when I copy objects from Illustrator into Photoshop (paths, text outlines, etc.) I will get a pop up box asking me in what manner do I want to paste it – Paths, Pixels, etc. For some reason I’m no longer getting this pop up; now it just pastes the object as a raster image.

Have I turned something off somewhere? Some setting I’m not aware of? Or is this a glitch of some kind?

Check your Illustrator clipboard preferences. Make sure you have AICB selected.

Bob! I forgot that I deleted the AI Prefs file while following along with my Classroom in a Book lessons.

Thank you 🙂
