Is there a way to calculate the route distance by measuring a trace along the roads of a map using photoshop?
Thanks.

There is a Ruler tool (uses whatever units are selected on the rulers) on the Zoom tool flyout.
If you know the scale of your map and the route is relatively straight, (lots of additions though) you may be able to do what you want.

That doesn’t sound like it will be very useful, but thanks anyway.

or Mapquest (http://www.mapquest.com/). There are others… Marcel

In the case where I would go off the beaten path.
