Changing PDF’s w/color to B/W

We receive PDF’s from all over, made from a myriad of S/W pkgs. Our publication print black w/spot color. If a PDF w/color faces a pg w/spot color, we need to convert that PDF to b/w. Some work fair as a PSD, some as a Tiff, others look awful either way. Here’s a typical page: (pg 9). <http://frontlinebuses.com/a9-12.pdf> – any suggestions? Thanks Lamar
