I shoot at least once a week and consider myself an avid amateur photographer who has recently gone digital. I have Lightroom and Photoshop CS3. I have created the basic framework for storing my images in Lightroom. What next? I am looking for resources for the digital photographer who is a true beginning user of photoshop and related adobe software. Most of what I have seen, builds on the assumed previous knowledge of the reader. Can you recommend books, videos, magazines, classes and websites that recognize that there is a starting point to building knowledge and skills in the digital darkroom?

Thanks

John

hi john, while this is a helpful forum in getting your questions answered about photoshop, the adobe photography forum:

is definately better suited to exactly your needs (getting up and running w/digital and best overall use of the programs).

come back here when you need more specific advice on techniques as you learn.

welcome!
