Need to get a Logo from Microsoft Word into Photoshop CS2

I have never needed to do this, but a customer only has their logo in Word. I tried to open it, and I just got a white blank box. Can anyone… give me the necessary steps?

Create a PDF of it and open that in Photoshop or copy/paste to Illustrator and open that in Photoshop.
