Don’t know what you mean by 3D fonts for PS, PS is a 2D application. If you mean making a 2D font look 3D, then this is usually done by applying layer styles (drop shadow, bevel & emboss, glow etc.,) to the Text layer. Try "googling" for "photoshop tutorials (3D) text" you should get something like

BTW, going through the font tutorials is a great way of getting some idea as to what you can do with PS, you should learn things you can apply to other projects.
