Yeah, it didn’t seem like there should be a Measurements(2) folder. However, while the file is Measurements(2) and Measurements has the same file name, the size is different.
I did install a trial version of Photoshop CS3 back when it came out. I had the same freezing/crashing problem with it back then, so I instantly uninstalled it.
Removing the Measurements(2) folder has allowed it to work for the first time. If the Measurements(2) folder wasn’t installed with the initial trial install, then there might have been another problem at the time, which produced the same freeze/crash.
I used Photoshop CS3 for a few hours without any problem. I wanted to try the new features…and figure out whether there was a purpose to the animation feature.
