I have just installed adobe Photoshop Elements, and I am trying to transfer pictures to a flash drive to be viewed on a digital photo frame. I can’t seem to figure out how to do it.

Flash drives usually come with software, but it should also show up under my computer as an additional drive. Just drag the files, to that drive.

yes, you can treat it like a normal drive – with one exception. make SURE you disconnect it via the "safely remove" icon down in your task tray (by the clock) before removing it. even if it LOOKS like it’s done writing to the drive, windows sometimes uses a think called "write behind" to get control of the desktop back to the user quicker. this is not normally a problem with hard drives (except in some cases with slow drives on a fast system when a user is shutting down the computer), but if you just pull a flash drive off a usb (or firewire) port without doing a "safely remove hardware" you run the risk of losing data.
