setting preferences in Crop

I’m working in photoshop 7 on Windows XP. When I’m cropping, and have reset the Color and Opacity of the cropping Shield, is it possible to set that particular color and opacity to be the default that appears every time I crop, or must I change the completely opaque Black to my preference every single time?
