it SHOULD work, but isn’t supported. do you NEED vista? is xp pro an option on your new system? that’s the way i’d go.

There are two versions of XP: Home and Pro. Most of the Pro features are irrelevant to non-corporate users. However, Pro allows you to use more RAM, which could be important.
