Hi – need to publish some of my black and white photos converted from original color in PS 7.1. Nothing I have tried will allow me to save them in .jpeg once converted to grayscale and this is the only format my server will digest. Can’t find a clue anywhere in the book or database. Help! Mike P.

You should be able to save grayscale in JPEG if the file is 8-bit and is flattened. If not (I don’t have 7.1), convert to RGB (the files will still appear in grayscale) to save as JPEG.
