Reinstalled windows xp, now when I try to move or resize a window, the window changes in a wave pattern. I would like to move a window all in one piece.

This doesn’t appear to be a Photoshop issue… but I am curious…what does "the window changes in a wave pattern" mean?

I ment to ask this question in windows xp forum. As the mouse is moved while dragging the window, even if it is moved slowly, the window does not move for awhile and when it does, the mouse disappears and part of the window moves to the new location, then another part, etc. The action is almost fluid and there is no way to know where it will be when finished

sounds like a video driver issue. can you guys cut back hardware acceleration (control panel> display> settings> advanced> trouble shooting) and see if that helps? if it gets better when turning hw acceleration off it’s a driver. get a newer (or older!) driver for the vid card.

Thank you Dave; it was the driver. I should have thought of that
