Thank you for answering, but I’m no closer, because I don’t know what uac is. I looked in the security center and found something called Unsigned Active X Control, but there are several areas in security that talks about Unsinged ActiveX Control. Exactly what am I looking to turn on.

Control panel<User Accounts and Family Safety<User Accounts<Turn User Account Control on or Off…remove check from box that says "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer". Hit okay and restart your computer. Use same path to turn UAC back on if desired. FWIW, I’ve found to save custom picture package presets UAC must be turned off in CS3. I assume the same would be true in CS2.
