Free CS2/CS3 Offers – are they for real?

I keep seeing links everywhere for free CS2 and CS3 to download. They say unpackaged, no manuals, etc.. are the reason for it being free. What is the deal with these? I doubt they’re legit but wanted to see what you all might know.

I’m getting emails over and over again offering me "prescriptions" for a growing number of medicines.

What’s the deal with these?

No, these aren’t the reasons why they’re being offered for free. It’s no "scratch and dent" sale going on here.

If I burned a copy of The Joshua Tree on to a CD-ROM, labeled it "Joshua Tree" with a Sharpie, and stuck it in a CD sleeve, I can’t legally offer it to you (missing booklet and all), whether for free or for anything. Same thing with Photoshop.

There are other motives for offering this to you, none of them good. Even if you did actually end up with Photoshop on your machine (and who knows what else), it would be an illegal copy, and likely even unusable. Stay away from it!
