Have tried everything in a vain attempt to install Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended including the (so called) last resort of copying all my files onto DVDs (a task I’ve been meaning to do for a year!), "wiping everything" and re-installing Windows XP Professional and starting again in an attempt to install CS3 (before installing the anti-virus or anyother software).
The computer has Intel dual core processor and 2048Mb RAM and (not sure but) plenty of hard disk space.
The event viewer shows 3 different warning codes: 63, 1005 and 5603 and no error numbers.
Do I have a hardware problem?
