Codes for common colors ?

Anyone know where I can go to find the hex-codes for common colors like true American Red-White-Blue, Navy Blue, Air Force Blue, Desert Storm tan, silver, gold, pewter, bronze, gun barrel blue, chrome, nickel, etc. It’s easy to create similar, but mine always lack that true authentic look. Thanks

Click on your foreground colour swatch, this should bring up your colour picker.

There is a button there called ‘Color Libraries’, click this and select one of the libraries (I suggest Pantone Process Uncoated)… then choose your colour by eye and let Photoshop do the conversion. Then you can read off the hex colour codes as per normal.
