Photoshop vs. Elements

For example if I’m using Camera Raw in Elements… I do most of my tweaks in Camera Raw and then some fine adjustments in brightness and contrast and cropping, then saving to tiff. would Elements do the same job as Photoshop? thanks J

The job you described yes. What you described are pretty basic adjustments which can be done in almost every image app out there.
