Hiding UI border in PS3

Hiya, I cant figure our how to hide the border in PS. (see pic)

I’d rather there was a straight transition from the gray workspace to my image. I find the border distracting.

Can this be hidden?

Can this be hidden?

nope. only when the image is maximized to full screen (F).
