Photoshop CS3’s photomerge giving me a hard time

I know how to use it and I do know it’s awesome.

I made a large panorama out of 6 photos before with no problems. Now that I tried it again with the same exact pictures and exactly in the same way as I did before but it doesn’t work. It just keeps complaining about not being able to align the pictures like it did before.

So nobody knows if it’s some kind of bug or what could have caused it to act like this?

Reset your preferences as described in the FAQ.

You either have to physically delete (or rename) the preference files or, if using the Alt, Ctrl, and Shift method, be sure that you get a confirmation dialog.

This resets all settings in Photoshop to factory defaults.

A complete uninstall/re-install will not affect the preferences and a corrupt file there may be causing the problem.
