Actually, I did what you suggested before I posted. Still had the problems with some, but not all of the images. I took a couple of images that hadn’t been processed at all and tried working with them.

I’ve decided that this is probably not a Portfolio problem, that the issue with images not loading in Portfolio is like the canary in the coal mine–there’s something wrong with the images. Next photoshoot, I’m going to try loading directly into PS and then transferring images into LightRoom, rather than the opposite.

It is a puzzle and maybe I just have too much software vying to help. So far, it remains a mystery.

Well, to get RAW into Photoshop I think you still have to process them, either through ACR, LightRoom, or some other RAW processor. I would try using both the app that came with your camera and ACR, just to test both. If either works that points the finger at LightRoom.

Using lightroom I want to batch convert a large catelog of nikon raw files to jpegs but keep both the original and show my ‘title’ in the converted batch. I believe this is done using export but don’t no how?
