Crap it seems updating your system is more trouble than its worth.

I’m talking to some moron in the Philippines who can’t active CS2 on the computer it’s installed on.

I see now why folk are mad at Adobe. these guys at off shore help really suck.

I must say I’m having fun yelling at this guy.

crap. now I’m on hold with bad music.

I’m typing this as its happening.

hitting ok

Is there some reason you think Windows users would care? 🙂

I just love hearing how the bullet-proof, easy-to-use, no hand-holding required Mac actually does have feet of clay. Of course, they’re very shapely feet and well-adorned with stylish slippers.

Mmmmm… I’ve never actually had to call Adobe customer service in more than 15 years. I’ve had problems, of course, but thankfully that’s one hold-line I’ve never been on. Probably one of the few!

Hope things work out for you, Buko.

I know you Widows guys care though.

Sorry for the wrong post. I would have deleted if I had figured it out in time. B)

Just an Update for all you caring Windows folk.

Well, I had to wait a good 2 minutes before speaking to a human at Customer Support who put me through to Tech Support. After having a nice chat, with Tech support, I now know that the Activation is not linked to the CPU and that a new system is considered a new computer. so if you have a test drive with Leopard (This would appy if you had 2 different Windows systems too) you need to deactivate the one on Tiger if your second activation is on a Laptop or second computer.

This seems a little silly but thats how it is.
