I have the same issue with CS3 Flash Lite update not installing and I’ve never used the trial or beta versions of CS3. I also can’t install Flash 9+ in Internet Explorer 7 but can install in Firefox. I had to install Flash 8 in IE to get any flash functionality in IE. System is new build virgin install Vista Ultimate SP1. Was hoping SP1 would fix but it hasn’t.

I was able to uninstall PS7. As mentioned before, I uninstalled then reinstalled PS CS3. However, I still have the issue with Flash lite not updating. I’m just living with it 🙁 but I’m still frustrated.

Olaf – I’ve never intalled a beta version so remnant beta version registry entries are not the problem. Thanks for the suggestion though. (Olaf Ulrich, "CS3 Not allowing updates" #20, 28 Jan 2008 5:58 am </webx?14/19>).

Oh well…

Same here, manual download of Flash Lite update does not install.
