Photoshop 6.0: crop tool icon changed

Instead of showing the crop tool as the mouse cursor, I just get a cross-hair.

Same for the clone stamp. When I press alt with the clone stamp, I get a weird cross-hair instead of the stamp icon.

Why? 🙁
