I had both and believe me the pease of mind that IF I needed the extra functionality, it had more probability being in CS3 than Elements made the extra financial outlay worth it.

It is always better to need a function and have it, than to need a function and have to skin the cat (possibly) a different way.

Thanks, Bob. I gave Rebecca the go-ahead to order CS3 and Lightroom, but as yet, she hasn’t gotten around to it. She’s a busy girl between school, boy friend and work.

Being as how I’m paying for it, I told her she’d need to convert my Nikon D80 RAW files for me. Let her work off the cost, right? 😉

Thanks Ed! this is exactly the kind of one-to-one comparission chart I was looking for. If Rebecca gets too busy to do my RAW conversions, I think I’ll get Elements for the RAW capability.

Thanks again all!
