Hi,

I’ve searched and Googled without success and here’s what I want to do.

I have an action in PS CS2 which does a series of steps then creates a layer mask and fills it with mid grey. It then continues to save and exit etc etc.

How can I make the action pause after filling the mask to allow me to modify the mask by painting with the brush tool, then resume the action when my edit is finished.

Sorry if this is obvious to you but it’s not to me 🙂

Insert a stop in the action via the action fly-out. Then press play when youre ready to continue.

Thanks, Mathias, I’ve tried that and must have done something wrong. I get the Stop dialog with options to Stop and Continue but can’t access the Brush tool while the dialog is displayed.

Ahh, the light comes on, I didn’t realise that the action would restart from where it stopped if I click the Play – thanks a million.
