Over the last few days I’ve ben having a problem where if work in Photoshop for a while then switch to another program Photoshop will suddenly decide to start exporting the clipboard. Once it reaches the end of the progress bar it gives an error "Unable to export clipboard due to a program error." and all I can do is click okay. Then it will try again. I can click cancel on the export progress bar but it doesn’t cancel. It may try three of 4 times, slowing down my system to near uselessness each time. Once it gives u trying everything seems to return to normal but it can take 10 – 15 minutes for it to give up. I’ve noticed that it will even do this if I have closed all open images.

Any thoughts how to make it NOT do this? Thanks.

You don’t say which version, but whenever something weird suddenly starts happening,m that is an indication that you should Trash/Reset Preferences as per the FAQs.

hehe, sorry I just assume everyone would want to be on the newest of the new and be on CS3. Sell your Grandmothers if you have to! hehehe

Anyway, thanks, I’ll give that a shot!

Lots of people use Photoshop at work and are stuck with whatever version their company is running. I am perfectly happy with PS CS. It suits my needs well. I would love to try out some of the newer features, but I have heard enough about problems with CS2 and CS3 to put me off.
