Recently while working in multiple windows, when a image is moved for one window to the next, it is resized automatically form its original size , to a new size (ex. Orig. 5×5 to 4.2×4.2).

How can I keep this from happening, so my image retains its original size?

Thanks,
Adam

…. and realise, the picture will print at the size "Image Size" tells you and not what it measures on the monitor!

Adam,

Think in terms of pixels or pixels per inch. Measuring images in inches or centimeters is not very useful on screen.

If resolution (in ppi) is not the same, images will look like they’ve been resized.
