Hello,
I am in need of some assistance. I am running Photoshop CS3 on Vista Ultimate x64. Recently, I installed 3D Studio Max 2008 along with VRay in order to let a friend use my quad core to render some of his work. After this install, Photoshop is non-functional. Every time I open it it seems to function properly, but when I got to open a document or create a new document, it brings up the Page Setup dialog box. Then, no matter what settings I choose or what I click, Photoshop will crash to the desktop. I have tried deleting and reseting my preferences in Photoshop. I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling Photoshop. I have used the Adobe cleaner and reinstalled. I cannot get it to work. I think that this is an Adobe update breaking something. I tried doing a fresh Vista install and Photoshop worked fine, but as soon as Adobe update went online and starting updating things stopped working (Microsoft Office also crashes instantly to the desktop). Does anyone know what is happening to my computer?

Have you tried entering the error message text into the Microsoft article search?

Do Adobe Creative Suite 3 applications run on 64-bit versions of Windows Vista?
While Adobe Creative Suite 3 software is natively 32 bit, these applications will run on 64-bit versions of Windows Vista. For an in-depth overview of 64-bit computing and its value, see this blog from Scott Byer, Adobe Photoshop software architect.

I can now join the chorus (well Bob and Bart) and say "No problems here".

Ok… does that mean that someone who calls Adobe with a problem, and they are using a 64bit OS… will receive support?

Or, will they (still) be told that the OS is UN-supported?

sounds like it’s supported to me…
