I’ve just started a a design agency where the designers work in Illustrator CS1. As a web developer, I use Photoshop/Imageready CS1 for slicing my images. We’ve recently experienced a problem where single ‘pixel’ lines in Illustrator, become anti-aliased in Photoshop when imported.
For instance, the image at

Should have a single pixel line above and below the strapline, but when it’s rasterised down to 72dpi, it becomes pixelated. Turning anti- aliasing off makes the text look awful. Is there a way to import the images successfully? Is this something to do with the grid settings in Illustrator? Could we snap to a 1px grid? Would this work?
