Are you aware of any issues that Photoshop CS2 may have with the latest service pack for Windows XP Pro? Photoshop is the most used program on my system and before I install SP3, I thought I would check here.
Thanks

There is a thread here, do a search, but the essential was that if you have a VPN connection it will be lost with the update.

no, it’s more complicated than that. some people where i work have gotten in i.d. there’s a component that may need to be enabled or turned on, but i haven’t tested it myself yet so i didn’t report back.

I have not been able to get Photoshop CS2 to run after applying service pack 3. The program would start up, but as soon as I tried to open a file, Photoshop would hang.

When I got my Nikon D 80, I was relieved to see that my much smaller files than the scans from the Hasselblad were reasonably fast on filters such as Smart Sharpen. Now, after installing SP3, a file that took a minute or less is taking 11 minutes! OTOH, sharpening in RAW has not slowed down. I posted this in RAW and they saw no problems with that, suggesting my machine is too slow!

Since I seldom use Sm Sharp, and since I cannot uninstall SP3 (Can I?)I cannot validate this.

I shudder to think what my scans will take.

I also have another machine on which I installed SP3. This machine has CS. I just opened it and had no trouble opening a file.

I’m holding off. I downloaded the ISO image.

Tried it on the laptop with CS2 — no problem.
