I saved an image of a wristwatch on the Citizen site on the Internet as a JPG file. And this all went well. The image looks fine, but it has a fine blue vertical line running through the center of it.
When I opened the image in Photoshop, just for kicks I tried to remove the line. But, the line does not appear to be "part of the image" itself. Nothing in Photoshop will in any way affect that line.
This is strictly a matter of curiousity now, as the image is nothing I care about. But since it appears to be part of the image, what is goiung on? It’s hard to believe that Citizen put that line there for "security" puposes. The line appears to be less than one pixel at 1600% zoom, as it doesn’t change whatever the zoom used.
So now I’m curious. How does one put such a line in the image that really isn’t part of the image??
