Hello,
at the moment, when I’m going to save a part of an image to another file, I do the following:
– select the region I want to save
– goto "edit -> Copy to one layer" (sorry I use the german version, I can’t exactly tell, how the english version reads)
– CTRL+N to open a new file
– CTRL+V to paste the part of the image to the new file
– save the file in another file format (e.g. .jpg)
Now I want to automate this procedure. I’m looking for a "save selection to file.." option. Is there any in Photoshop (CS)? Or is it possible to make a macro/script/action that could serve what I’m looking for?
Thanks a lot
