I don’t know what I’ve done but I only get a crosshair/circle type cursor when I select the color picker, crop tool, brushes etc. I’ve searched myself colorblind but I can’t find it! Nothing has changed under Edit | Preferences | Display & Cursors either…

Any ideas??

Richard,

That’s a common problem that sneaks up on folks from seemingly out of nowhere…turn off your Caps Lock key. Welcome to the club!

Daryl,
Tnx for your reply. So at least I’m not crazy… The problem vanished again just like it appeared. Weird science… 🙂

No Richard, you aren’t crazy. When you press the caps lock (often by accident) the cursor changes from "brush" to "precise", which is the cross hairs. Click on a brush tool, then toggle Caps Lock a few times, you’ll see.
