I would like to learn more about how to use Curves, in CS3.

Is there a good reference book on this subject you could recommend?

Thanks.

Dan Margulis uses them extensively for color correction, although he typically works in CMYK or Lab. His books are good resources if those color modes are of any value to you.

EDIT: Not that you can’t gain some insight from him if all you ever work in is RGB…

Dan Margulis is the best – either his Lab book or Professonal Photoshop. The curvemeister on line class is another possibility – windows only.

Another vote for Margulis here.

Steal contrast from where you don’t need it, so you can add it to where you do need it.

Dave, thanks. There are a surprising number of tutorials out there.

I’ll also get the Margulis book.
