Making a boat tail

Hello all,
I need to desiign a "rooster tail" effect for a boat designer’s web site. I guess I can best describe the vision of having a boat cruise across the intro page screen with the wave it creates behind it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Kind of vague. Do you want something stylized, iconic, photographic, painted, sketched, etc.? Can you show us something similar that you like?

A vector illustration might be best here, but it could be anything.

Thanks for the response.
I need to create a graphic that combines a boat image (you can view the boat at <http://empdigital.net/studiofranco/home.html> )
with the waves that a boat leaves behind while it’s speeding along the water at high speed, (i.e., < http://www.freefoto.com/images/2026/04/2026_04_39—Speed-bo at_web.jpg)>
I want to try to create the a movie of the boat speeding across the screen leaving the white foam wake behind as a Flash swf for an intro page. Pardon if my description is less than vivid.

Looks like 3D art. I’d maybe go for a photograph. Try Getty.
