As per the FAQs, view at 100 percent (Actual Pixels)
It’s still not the same. I tried that before posting.
The effect is there – but not the amount that I’ve inputted. I have a bevel on type, and even at 100% it’s not the same as my .psd file.
Not even close. It’s very frustrating to say the least.
Thanks for responding. I appreciate it.
Same resolutions?
The way to "commit" them is to just merge with an empty Layer.
Same resolutions.
I tried that trick too – didn’t help. I watched my bevel change the second I merged the layers.
I never had this problem with CS2… I wonder if I have to reinstall.
I haven’t encountered this before – I’ve been using Photoshop since version 5.

At Actual Pixels?
Is there any transparency in the un-flattened file?
Are you working on a CMYK file?

I’d reset prefs first.

Yes at actual pixels.
There is transparency on some of the layers.
It’s an RGB file.
I’ll reset the prefs and see if that works.
Thanks again everyone – it’s greatly appreciated.

My money is on that.
Throw in a solid white (or solid any color) as a base layer at the bottom of the layer stack. See if there is still a change.
There was a solid black base layer. Still the same issue.
Huh.
Can you post a before/after screen shot somewhere, like pixentral (including the zoom factor in the shot… I’m from Minnesota, or is that Missouri..;>)
<Don Adams from the original "Get Smart">
"Missouri?… don’t tell me where I’m from."
I figured that I would just do a reinstall – it worked.
Thanks again everyone.
