Heeeey.

I’ve got a couple of hundred images I need to resize and put a logo on before they go online. Obviously I’d like to use actions and batch processing. My problem is I can’t think of a way to get the logo in to the image in an action-friendly way. I’d hoped I could create another file the same size as the end image with the appropriately placed logo and just drop it in or merge the two… but i can’t!

Thanks in advance!
(I’m running CS3 on Vista btw)

There are several ways, and there are tutorials on the web. I believe Russel Brown has one on his site.

In general I have Copy/Pasted the logo, then positioned it using Layer>Align and moving to the exact place with the Move tool and arrow keys.

When you Copy something to the clipboard it stays there unless replaced, so Copy does not have to be part of an Action; just Copy before Batching. When you Paste, it always places in the exact center, so take it from there.

Ah, copy and paste. I’m an idiot, I probably could have worked that out eh? Thanks a lot for replying!
