Clone tool help

I have a multi layered image where all the layers are of the same image with different effects. Is there a way I can align the clone source point to the same point on a different layer? I am using PS CS (version 1)

I think so. try to check the ‘use all layers’ box when setting the clone source. you may need to hide all layers but the source and destination. then select the source layer in the layers palette, choose the clone source, go back to the destination layer in the layers palette and start cloning…
