Using Photoshop cs3 on XP

Using the ‘Warp Text’ dialog, and the Style ‘Arc’ one can warp the text upward. That is fine if one wishes to add text to the top of a circle but, how about warping that text downward so as to readable at the bottom.

True, one can rotate the image 180 degrees and put type at the bottom but, then it is readable only if one rotates the image.

The other warp options all distort the text if warping it downward so that is out.

Any help?

Have you tried using text on a path. You can get some quite good results that way and the text does not get distorted.

Here is a link to an example of text on a path

Using negative numbers in the Arc dialog works for me. Or am I not understanding what you want? (entirely possible)

Click on the image below and watch for the differences (in the red-boxed areas) in the 2 animation frames. Should explain it all:

Thanks for the Information! Seems that most of what I wanted was there in front of me!
