I created a logo in Photoshop CS3 and saved it as a jpeg. The logo looks messy. What did I do or can I do to make it clean.

You can see it at:

Thanks

Part of the problem is what your asking the stroke to do at such a small size. It’s hard to make any curved or diagonal edges look smooth at that size. Also, sometimes you can get a better, more controllable result by using a Shapeburst gradient for your stroke instead of a plain color stroke.

Are you also trying to use some kind of a bevel in the lettering? Again, a difficult thing at such a small size. I suggest eliminating it.

Another part of the problem could be the type of antialiasing you’re using on the type. Experiment with them to see which works best.

Here’s a a quick facsimile. I know it’s not exact, but you’ll see the differences. (The wavy line is to discouraging you from actually taking and using what I made).

I think the wavy line improves it! B)

I am working on making the changes. No beveling or antialiasing was used.

Thanks for your help.
