Photoshop 7 randomly closing

I’m having a really weird issue.
Photoshop 7 keeps closing suddenly on me. It only happens when I try to open or save files in a certain folder, I think. The weird thing is I moved that folder out of the folder that it is inside, and then I could save and open files in that folder just fine. I’ve tried using a registry repair program, and done a virus scan, and nothing.

If you are running Vista (or maybe XP?) you need to look very closely at your OS permissions and security settings… your problem SEEMS to be similar to ones that have been discussed that have to do with security setting problems

I’m running XP. That folder was a shared folder, but then I changed the share settings and it didn’t change anything.

Ok… you say FolderA–FolderB does not work

Then you say a different location FolderB does work

Looks like permissions to me

Or, maybe, you have some ODD character in the name of FolderA

What’s an ODD character?
Why would I only have this issue with Photoshop?
