Okay I read this thread already <http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.3c06225c?14> which was very useful but I still have a few questions.
I will be photographing old blueprints that are 3’x4′(this will be the largest).
I will be getting a camera stand and I am looking at the Bogen / Manfrotto Mini Salon 190 Camera Stand which seems to be the best solution for my needs.
But my question is what lens?? I have a Sigma 20mm macro but I am concerned about the distortion around the edges (which sigma does great with trying to eliminate). The other camera I have is a canon 28-135 that has limited macro capabilities but I think some Kenko tubes might take care of that.
The lighting has me a bite perplexed as well. With the camera at a 90 degree angle I will have to make sure the light source is between the camera and the paper and not over the camera to eliminate shadows. My studio lights are too big for this and flash is supposedly a big no-no because of creating hot spots.
I thank you for all your help!
